Description
Soft, chewy, and full of chocolatey peanut butter goodness, these cookies are easy to make and even easier to love.
Ingredients
1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup peanut butter
2 eggs
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped semisweet chocolate
Instructions
Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy.
Mix in the peanut butter, eggs, corn syrup, water, and vanilla extract until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
Fold in chopped semisweet chocolate until evenly distributed.
Scoop dough onto a baking sheet, spacing evenly.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, until edges are golden.
Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Cool completely before storing or serving.
Notes
For extra chewy cookies, slightly underbake and allow to set on the tray.
You can freeze dough balls and bake straight from the freezer—just add 1–2 extra minutes to the baking time.
